Within the dietary supplement industry, the FDA plays a role in regulating, enforcing safety standards, and setting the limits on what supplement companies can claim about their products.

In order to create public safety, the FDA enforces a set of regulations called Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) which in turn guides manufacturers and companies to produce safe and effective products.  The FDA inspects for any GMP missteps and has the means to remove dangerous products from the marketplace.  The FDA can also ban companies and manufacturers if cGMPs are not met.

*Second Wind Nutraceuticals only manufacturers in the United States and in a facility that meets and exceeds FDA GMPs.
